BIOTRENDZ-2012
“Research is like shooting an arrow into the air and, where it lands, painting a target”
The present conference is organized in way of highlighting the current status of research in India and Worldwide to young scientists and students in the field of Biochemistry and Molecular biology. This will reflect the understanding of individuals their exact position on the research globe. And would bring together, a wide community of people involved in active research around the nation and thereby could provoke new ideas and trends in specified fields among active researchers, by identifying the need for Indian society. “Science and technology (S&T) drive economic and social development. But reliable data and statistics are needed to measure the impact of S&T on development.” The conference can obviously enlighten the minds of all scientist and students and by their new concepts of Evolutionary trends in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The organizing committee have great pleasure in inviting researchers and scientists to share their research experience on the highlighted topics of the seminar during the National Conference. |
Alzinfo-2012
“Dedicated researchers seek better treatment and cure for Alzheimer's disease, while the scientists face an array of disincentives.......
Now we can do better!!!!!” Alzheimer’s disease is a devasting neurodegenerative disorder. It is one of the leading causes of death in an elderly people of aged above 85. Alzinfo is an awareness program which was inaugurated on 21st September 2011 (World Alzheimer’s Day) as Departmental event in the Department of Biochemistry, and then has evolved as National event in joining the scientific community in sharing their view and updates. The Motivation of this conference is to create awareness about Alzheimer’s disease. The organizing committee have pleasure to invite people from Alzheimer’s society in India to reveal the real face of Dementia among aged population. In India survey projects and research over aging and Alzheimer’s disease has been greatly implementing while no such survey has yet been generated from several states and districts, where Tamil Nadu is one among them. Conferences like this could definitely create awareness among scientific population across the Nation and could carry information to their places thereby could influence the importance and need for healthy aging. |
